Founder
A lifelong student of Vedic astrology, Poonam was raised in a family where jyotish was studied rather than merely consulted. She built Jyotis to close the gap between classical Vedic texts — Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra, Phaladeepika, Jataka Parijata — and the watered-down AI horoscope apps flooding the market. Jyotis's pipeline is grounded in source texts, not generic LLM output.
She writes about the measurable versus unmeasurable boundaries of jyotish, and why questioning, not claiming is the only honest stance an astrology product can take.
Beyond Vedic astrology, Poonam is a certified International Yoga Teacher.
